THE COLORADO HISTORICAL FOUNDATION MOBILIZES RESOURCES TO SUPPORT AND INSPIRE COLORADO'S PEOPLE IN THEIR PRESERVATION OF MEANINGFUL PLACES, HERITAGE, AND HISTORY. THE FOUNDATION ENVISIONS COLORADO AS A PLACE WHERE ALL PEOPLE FEEL REFLECTED IN CULTURAL RESOURCES AND HISTORIC PLACES, AND CAN BUILD AN EQUITABLE FUTURE INFORMED BY THE PAST. THE FOUNDATION'S FOUR FOCUS AREAS: ACCEPTING AND MONITORING HISTORIC PRESERVATION EASEMENTS, ADMINISTERING A HISTORIC PRESERVATION REVOLVING LOAN FUND, PROJECT CONSULTATION AND SUPPORT, AS WELL AS STEWARDING ENDOWMENTS AND RESTRICTED FUNDS TO SUPPORT ORGANIZATIONS AND PROJECTS THAT FURTHER THE FOUNDATION'S MISSION.FOR OVER 40 YEARS, THE FOUNDATION'S EASEMENT PROGRAM HAS PROTECTED HISTORIC BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LANDSCAPES THAT EMBODY COLORADO'S STORIED LEGACIES AND UNIQUE SENSE OF PLACE.
