Colorado Horse Rescue Network was established in 2013 after several founding members saw the need for a state-wide organization to help needy equines. CHRN has a central facility Rush, CO and a network of foster homes all over the state. We actively rescue horses from a variety of situations to prevent them from entering the slaughter pipeline or entering into abusive or neglectful homes. CHRN maintains a network of foster homes and transporters all over Colorado. CHRN always has fully vetted and evaluated horses available for adoption as well as resident horses in need of sponsorship. We are also in partnership with Denver Dumb Friends League's Harmony Equine Center to offer professionally trained horses through their adoption program in Franktown, CO. CHRN is governed by a board of directors, which are made up of a variety of professionals, from authors to ranchers to breeders and trainers. We pride ourselves on our high standards of ethics. We strive to help every horse we meet.
