The Association is formed to provide unity, friendship and goodwill for those who have retired from (paid) police, corrections and peace officer professions and who have served in and/or resided in, or currently reside in Columbia County, NY. To promote fellowship, goodwill and cooperation between the members of the Association and those currently serving as active police, corrections and peace officers. To promote a better understanding to the public at large by providing education and information about the police, corrections and peace officer professions and to ensure that those officers who have retired and passed away are remembered and in some way memorialized.
