COMMUNITY ALLIANCE AGAINST FAMILY ABUSE'S MISSION IS TO EMPOWER INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES, AND COMMUNITIES TO BE FREE FROM ABUSE THROUGH COLLABORATION, PREVENTION, AWARENESS, AND SUPPORT. THE AGENCY IS A KEY PROVIDER OF DOMESTIC AND SEXUAL VIOLENCE SERVICES IN EASTERN MARICOPA COUNTY AND PINAL COUNTY, WHERE THERE ARE LIMITED SERVICES AVAILABLE AND A HIGH NEED. COMMUNITY ALLIANCE AGAINST FAMILY ABUSE COLLABORATES CLOSELY WITH COMMUNITY PARTNERS INCLUDING LAW ENFORCEMENT, PROSECUTORS' OFFICES, COMMUNITY-BASED GROUPS, AND OTHER DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND SOCIAL SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS TO OFFER COMPREHENSIVE, EFFECTIVE SERVICES THAT HELP SURVIVORS HEAL AND BREAK THE CYCLE OF ABUSE. THE AGENCY ALSO LEADS EDUCATION AND AWARENESS EFFORTS AIMED AT PREVENTING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.
