COMMUNITY INVESTORS IS A MASSACHUSETTS-BASED 501(C)(3) NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION SUPPORTING THE PHYSICAL, SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL WELLNESS OF ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS THROUGH THE POWER OF PLAY. OUR PLAYROX PROGRAMS ARE A UNIQUE BLEND OF MUSIC-FUELED FUN FOR KIDS OF ALL AGES, GENDERS AND ABILITIES THAT HAS BEEN DEVELOPED AND REFINED OVER 30 YEARS. PLAY-BASED SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT IS VITAL TO OUR MISSION. THROUGH THE POWER OF PLAY WE FOSTER AND TRAIN MIDDLE SCHOOL, HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE STUDENTS, WHO COACH AND MENTOR YOUNGER PARTICIPANTS, RESULTING IN INCREASED RESILIENCY, EMPATHY, AND JOY. WE PARTNER WITH OTHER STAKEHOLDERS, LIKE SCHOOLS AND RECREATION AND HEALTH DEPARTMENTS, TO FURTHER WEAVE OUR PROGRAMS INTO THE FABRIC OF THE COMMUNITY. IN ADDITION, WE ENCOURAGE UNDERSTANDING AND ACCEPTANCE THROUGH OUR URBAN TO SUBURBAN BRIDGE PROGRAM WHICH BUILDS CONNECTION ACROSS DIVERSE COMMUNITIES.
