THE PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF VERMONT AGRICULTURE THROUGH COMPETITIVE EXHIBITS, PROVIDING FACILITIES AND OFFERING OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN THEM. PROVIDE FOR THE PARTICIPATION OF YOUTH IN SUCH EXHIBITS INVOLVING THE EDUCATIONAL VALUES IMPLICIT IN ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IN SUCH PROMOTION AND EXHIBITION. TO COORDINATE THE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY FOR STUDENTS IN VOCATIONAL COURSES OF ALL KINDS OFFERED IN THE HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL AND INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, VOCATIONAL AGRICULTURE AS EXEMPLIFIED IN THE WORK OF FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA. TO WORK AND PLAN COOPERATIVELY WITH SCHOOL AUTHORITIES IN MAKING THE EDUCATION TRAINING VALUES FOR YOUTH EVER MORE SIGNIFICANT. THE ANNUAL AGRICULTURE FAIR HAS A PRIMARY EMPHASIS ON THE 4-H CLUB PROJECTS AND ACTIVITIES WITH THE YOUTH DAIRY SHOW AND 4-H OXEN SHOW THE MAINSTAY EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM AT THE BRADFORD FAIR. THE FAIR ALSO SERVES AS AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT EVENT FOR THE REGION.
