THE CW YOUTH LACROSSE PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE A STUCTURED FEEDER PROGRAM THAT WILL PROVIDE OUR STUDENT ATHLETES WITH SOLID FUNDAMENTAL LACROSSE SKILLS AND UNDERSTANDING OF LACROSSE STRATEGY, CONCEPTS AND RULES AND LACROSSE IQ. OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE OUR PLAYERS WITH A PROGRESSIVE CURRICULUM OF SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE AS THEY ADVANCE UPWARD THROUGH THEIR AGE GROUPS SO THAT THE CW HS TEAM WILL CONTINUALLY HAVE KNOWLEDGEABLE, COMPETENT AND COMPETITIVE PLAYERS CIOMING INTO THE HS PROGRAM. TO ACHEIVE THIS GOAL, COMMUNICATION AND COORDINATION WITH THE HS COACHES WILL BE SOLICITED AND ENCOURAGED. THE CWYL PROGRAM WILL PROVIDE PLAYERS WITH A POSITIVE, MOTIVATIONAL AND FUN EXPERIENCE THAT WILL STRESS THE IMPORTANCE OF SPORTSMANSHIP, TEAM AND HUMILITY. HONOR THE GAME CONCEPTS WILL ALSO BE COMMUNICATED AT ALL LEVELS. THE CWYL PROGRAM WILL MEASURE SUCCESS NOT THROUGH COUNTING THE NUMBER OF WINS EACH OF OUR LEVELS ACHIEVE EACH YEAR. SUCCESS WILL BE MEASURED BY THE CONTINUING IMPROVEMENT OF PLAY
