Mission Statement

The primary purpose of the Cooper Ridge organization is to provide Animal-Assisted Therapy services to individuals with intellectual, physical, and emotional disabilities and disorders. Cooper Ridge Farm offers an alternative to traditional brick-and-mortar therapy services (ie speech-language-therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and applied behavior therapy). Through Animal Assisted Interventions, Cooper Ridge provides unique and effective way to work on traditional therapy goals in a fun and interactive environment. Each intervention focuses on developmental, educational, and emotional support through structured farm activities alongside certified instructors and our animal partners. In addition to our therapy services, Cooper Ridge also provides employment opportunities to adults with disabilities through grant funding.
