THE PROJECT IS OPERATED UNDER SECTION 207, PURSUANT TO SECTION 223(F) OF THE NATIONAL HOUSING ACT OF 1974, MORTGAGE INSURANCE FOR THE PURCHASE OR REFINANCING OF EXISTING MULTIFAMILY HOUSING PROJECTS, AND IS REGULATED BY THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) WITH RESPECT TO RENTAL CHANGES AND OPERATING METHODS. THE PROJECTS MAJOR PROGRAM IS ITS SECTION 207 SUBSIDIZED LOAN. THE PROJECT IS ALSO SUBJECT TO SECTION 8 ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS AGREEEMENTS WITH HUD AND A SIGNIFICANT PORTION OF THE PROJECTS RENT IS RECEIVED FROM HUD. THE PROJECTS NONMAJOR PROGRAM IS ITS SECTION 8 RENT SUBSIDY.
