Mission Statement

Creative Stage Collective Ltd. (CSC) is a Harlem-based, multi-disciplinary, multi-generational performing group that predominantly creates original theater, music and dance in the devised theater method. CSC aims to connect its audiences to the joys of music and imaginative storytelling in deep and personal ways. Actively striving to bring diversity to the performing arts at every level (from its board of directors and the artists CSC enlists, to the communities CSC serves), CSC engages artists and individuals of different artistic disciplines, races, beliefs and backgrounds, in the belief that creating performing arts together by incorporating multiple viewpoints, voices and ideas will result in a product that is far richer than the sum of its parts. The majority of our shows are presented free of charge.
