Mission Statement

Dallas Guzheng Association is dedicated to promoting the spread of Guzheng arts, providing access of Guzheng education to public, and uniting communities through artistic expression and music events. We leverage Guzheng as a gateway to uplifting life, shaping the future and artistic achievement through musical arts and education. Guzheng, also as Zheng or Chinese Zither, is a classic traditional Chinese musical instrument that has thousands of years' history. Our vision is to: * Provide quality Guzheng education for children and adults at all levels and ages * Offer practical training for aspiring musicians and educators * Make creative opportunities available for local musicians and educators * Create a local musical community that engages in events and networking * Organize and sponsor Guzheng concert and public lectures * Provide instruments to our sponsored students * Bring our community together with music and art
