Singers are taught the basics of vocal production and learn the fundamentals of musicianship and note reading. They are also exposed to a variety of musical styles ranging from classical and folk tunes to contemporary and pop music. Participation in this program develops a sense of responsibility, confidence and self-esteem in the singers. Its aim is to instill sensitivity to beauty, the arts and musicianship. The result is the enhancement of individual skills and lasting friendships and relationships among the group members.
