DC Accounting Lab is an educational nonprofit dedicated to providing top quality financial services to small businesses by pairing Fortune 500 experienced CPAs with collegiate accounting interns to support financial services. We create high-quality work experiences and provide professional certification training for college students majoring in Accounting and Finance by using skilled CPAs to train and supervise collegiate interns in bookkeeping and tax preparation. DC Accounting Lab is also dedicated to providing top quality educational support to public schools by pairing Certified Teachers with college students majoring in Education and Math. We create mutually beneficial professional work experiences for college students to provide classroom support in Reading, ELA, and Math, while receiving supervised training in classroom management and pedagogy from Certified Teachers.
