Mission Statement

Decatur County Girls Mission Statement: Our mission is to empower young girls through the sport of softball by providing a safe supportive and inclusive environment where they can develop athletic skills build self-confidence and learn valuable life lessons. We are committed to promoting teamwork leadership and sportsmanship while fostering a sense of community and personal growth. Through our programs we aim to create opportunities for girls to engage in physical activity make lifelong friendships and develop into confident strong and positive leaders both on and off the field. Youth Softball Leagues: We organized and facilitated recreational softball leagues for girls ages 5 to 18 ensuring that players of all skill levels had the opportunity to participate. Coaching Clinics and Training: To ensure high-quality instruction and mentorship for our athletes we hosted coaching clinics for volunteer coaches.
