Mission Statement

THE PURPOSE OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO ENCHANE THE DECATUR PUBLIC LIBRARY BY PURSUING AND ACCEPTING GIFTS, GRANTS, AND ENDOWMENTS CONSISTENT WITH ITS DESIGNATION UNDER THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE AS A 501 (C) (3) ORGANIZATION, TO BENEFIT LIBRARY SERVICE IN THE COMMUNITY.
