DIWALI is the victory of "Good" over "Evil."RANJU BATRA, as Chair of Diwali Stamp Project, spent seven years to get USPS to issue a Forever Diwali Stamp on October 5, 2016.On December 5, 2016, 24 nations at the U.N. honored Ranju's journey of how she got the USPS Stamp as being consistent with the Ideals of the U.N. Charter. Diwali Foundation USA, Inc. was formed in 2017, and held its first annual "Diwali Stamp-Power of One" Awards recognizing world class diplomats and exceptiona national leaders at the United Nations who promote conflict resolution, with respectful inclusive means,to enhance peace and security and to help "form a more perfect world." Except for Covid-Years of 2020 and 2021,these Awards ceremonies have been held at the United Naitons.
