Mission Statement

Historic Preservation: Promoting the preservation, protection, and use of Newton's traditional downtown area, including its commercial, civic, and religious enterprises, as well as residences.Remedial Actions: Addressing and mitigating physical, economic, and social deterioration in Newton's traditional downtown area.Education and Dissemination: Holding meetings and distributing information to foster understanding and appreciation of Newton's history, culture, and architecture.Community Engagement: Working with other organizations, individuals, and entities, both within and outside Newton, that share similar purposes.Fund Administration: Soliciting, receiving, and managing funds for educational and preservation purposes, including managing gifts, grants, and other financial assets.
