SITUATED AT THE CONFLUENCE OF HISTORIC BLACK COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES AND EDISTO MEMORIAL GARDENS, DOWNTOWN ORANGEBURG IS THE REGIONAL DESTINATION FOR AUTHENTIC SC HISTORY FROM THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION TO THE CIVIL RIGHTS ERA WHERE A SENSE OF PLACE IS CULTIVATED, AND SMALL BUSINESSES THRIVE.
