Mission Statement

Downtown Westfield Community Development Corporation (DWCDC) is operated exclusively to promote the social welfare of the City of Westfield's (the City's) residents by advancing redevelopment and revitalization efforts which enhance the community's social, cultural, and economic conditions. DWCDC supports projects that improve public spaces, infrastructure, and facilities; stimulate capital investment; and encourage rehabilitation of commercial and residential properties. By assisting initiatives that beautify the City of Westfield and foster business and employment growth, the organization plays a key role in transforming underutilized areas into vibrant, functional, and inclusive spaces aligned with the City's development goals. All efforts are aimed at benefiting the public and aligning with the City's broader development goals
