ORGANIZED TO SUPPORT DUKE UNIVERSITY HEALTH SYSTEM, INC. BY ASSISTING DUKE RALEIGH HOSPITAL (DRH) TO ADVANCE THE GOOD AND WELFARE OF DRH BY THE USE OF THE TALENTS AND ABILITIES OF THE MEMBERS OF THE CORPORATION; TO VOLUNTARILY RENDER FINANCIAL OR OTHER ASSISTANCE DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY TO PATIENTS OF DRH IN NEED; TO CONTRIBUTE, FINANCIALLY AND OTHERWISE, TOWARD THE WORK OF DRH; AND TO ENGAGE IN WORK PROJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF DRH AND ITS PATIENTS.
