Mission Statement

Public safety is our primary goal for our community which is provided by our Volunteer Fire Department Our Volunteer Fire Department has been called out by the Forestry Department throughout the year to assist in fighting out-of-control fires Since we are surrounded by 120 sq miles of forest land this is a big part of our public safety goal During 2023 there were 3 deaths in the community As a public outreach we hosted a dinner for the families after the funeral
