Mission Statement

The main activity of this organization is to develop, administer, and promote organized soccer programs, for recreational purposes, for the children of the El Dorado Youth Soccer League (EDYSL) territory on a non-profit, volunteer basis.The most important goal of the league is "children playing soccer". Fulfillment of these goals is to be brought about by setting an atmosphere of friendly competition in which sportsmanship, learning, and playing soccer are held foremost. The EDYSL subdivides and administers the youth soccer club's territory into individual clubs. The EDYSL is responsible for maintaining and distributing equitably equipment to the individual clubs, over-seeing the training and certification of League referees, enforcing League standards and rules, scheduling training sessions for coaches and assisting clubs in selecting coaches, registering players submitted by clubs, and accounting for monies spent and collected by the League from individual clubs.
