Mission Statement

THE EMILY VICTORIA SOLEK MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND provides assistance for higher education to a graduate of Stoney Creek High School, Rochester Hills, Michigan. On an annual basis, a student pursuing a college degree will be awarded financial assistance, for their higher education expenses. Qualifications will be based on character and academic achievement. Financial need may also be a consideration. The fund is organized exclusively for educational purposes, including but not limited to, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section(s) of any future federal tax code. This fund created an endowment with the Rochester Community Schools Foundation (TIN 38-3269615) who is responsible for administering the application and selection process for the scholarship recipient each year.
