Mission Statement
Envelop creates immersive listening experiences through physical venues, virtual venues, and open-source software tools. In '17 we opened Envelop SF, a listening space in SF, CA. We host performances, albums, wellness, and educational events; 16-24 per month. Our listening spaces and events advance our mission by bringing the benefits of immersive listening to the public. In May '19 our first public events began in Envelop Pop-up, a portable listening space. In April '20, we launched Envelop Stream, a virtual listening space serving our community remotely. We also create free software called E4L. The 1st beta was released in '15, and we made it publicly available in May '18. E4L allows artists to compose/produce immersive music in Envelop venues and their DIY projects. E4L advances our mission by making it equitable for musicians to create immersive music for public benefit.
