The Erie Regional Library Foundation exists to support the needs of the Erie County Public Library. We provide funding for dynamic new projects that keep our libraries creative, flexible, and ready to serve. We also help build and refurbish our library buildings. We take our direction from the strategic plan of the Erie County Public Library. Our Foundation was established in 2000 as the philanthropic tributary to the Erie County Public Library as a separate 501(c)3 charitable organization with its own Board of Directors and governance. Our past projects include the construction and renovation of libraries, support for planning efforts, and a book endowment.
