Mission Statement

To perform medical education, the practice of medicine and health care delivery in the US and abroad; to perform medical and health care-related research; to engage in, conduct, and carry on medical research, investigations, experiments, analyses and other medical studies as to conditions, normal and abnormal, involving the human body systems; to develop scientific methods and systems for diagnosis, treatment, and cure, as well as prevention and alleviation, of medical conditions involving such systems; to establish, maintain and operate laboratories, clinics and other such facilities as may be needed for these purposes; to engage in activities designed to improve medical education, research and understanding both in the US and abroad. The founders of ETHOS believe that a doctor's education should also include the internal cultivation of principles and beliefs that allow him or her to see the profession as a calling instead of just a job.
