Feed St, Mary's Inc. exists to alleviate food insecurity throughout St. Mary's County, MD with the objective of eventually making St. Mary's County free from hunger. Feed St. Mary's is a Food Bank, serving St. Mary's County, MD. During 2021, the Maryland Food Bank was able to subsidize most of the food distributed by the Maryland Food Bank to Feed St. Mary's on behalf of local food pantries and soup kitchens, which came from COVID relief grants. These grants covered Maryland Food Bank costs. Hence, the cost of food purchased by Feed St. Mary's was held to support, mostly supporting special needs and events as they arose. In 2024, Feed St. Mary's subsidized food purchases for non-Maryland Food Bank pantries to better reach the underserved areas of St. Mary's County.
