THE MISSION OF FELTON LABORATORY CHARTER SCHOOL IS TO PROVIDE A RIGOROUS, CREATIVE, AND DIVERSE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT THROUGH SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, THE ARTS, AND MATHEMATICS. THIS INTERDISCIPLINARY APPROACH WILL ALLOW STUDENTS TO CREATIVELY STUDY AND EXAMINE THE ROLES ALL DISCIPLINES PLAY IN SHAPING THE CIRCUMSTANCES THAT AFFECT HUMAN LIFE BY OPERATING AS FORCES THAT INFLUENCE SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH, TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION AND ENGINEER HUMAN AFFAIRS. STUDENTS WILL LEARN HOW TO BECOME PRELIMINARY ANALYSTS OF THESE INTERACTIONS AND DEVELOP PROBABLE SOLUTIONS FOR SOME OF THE MOST PRESSING ISSUES OF THE 21ST CENTURY. THROUGH THIS LEARNING ENVIRONMENT, THEY WILL HAVE THE UNIQUE ADVANTAGES TO UNDERSTAND THE IMPACT OF TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION ON THEIR LIVES AS THEY ACQUIRE KEEN AWARENESS OF ILLS THAT PLAGUE SOCIETY AND IMPACT THEIR PERSONAL WORLDS.
