Mission Statement

At Flying Pig Farm our mission is to cultivate resilient relationships with food and natural systems through land-based learning. We primarily focus on three areas: youth development, food access and education, and land restoration and stewardship. We offer farm-to-school programming on a historic 3 acre property in Manitou for K-12 school groups including STEM integrated core content, social emotional learning groups, programming for youth with disabilities, internships and apprenticeships for high school and college age youth, and workshops for learners of all ages.
