FROM 2006-2020, FBO OPERATED AS THE "CHALKBOARD PROJECT," FOCUSED PRIMARILY ON IMPROVING K-12 PUBLIC EDUCATION THROUGH INITIATIVES THAT SUPPORTED THE EDUCATOR WORKFORCE. IN 2020, THE ORGANIZATION ADOPTED A NEW MISSION, VISION, AND RELAUNCHED UNDER THE ORIGINAL NAME OF FOUNDATIONS FOR A BETTER OREGON (FBO). FBO IS COMMITTED TO ENSURING OREGON HAS SYSTEMS IN PLACE TO SUPPORT EVERY CHILD TO LEARN, GROW, AND THRIVE.
