FCHA IS A NON-PROFIT 501-C-3 TAX EXEMPT ORGANIZATION, FOUNDED IN 1970, THAT HAS BEEN SERVING THE CHILDREN OF FRANKLIN COUNTY FOR 55 YEARS. FCHA IS A VOLUNTEER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO PROVIDING CHILDREN INTERESTED IN HOCKEY AN ENVIRONMENT TO DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS AND HAVE FUN. THE ASSOCIATION OFFERS A LEARN-TO-SKATE PROGRAM, AN INTRODUCTION-TO-HOCKEY PROGRAM, A RECREATIONAL IN-HOUSE HOCKEY PROGRAM, AND A COMPETITIVE TRAVEL HOCKEY PROGRAM FOR 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U AND 18U AGE GROUPS.THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE FRANKLIN COUNTY YOUTH HOCKEY ASSOCIATION IS TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF OUR YOUTH THROUGH THE GAME OF HOCKEY. FCHA IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING OUR YOUNG PEOPLE THE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE FUN ON THE ICE WHILE LEARNING THE BASIC SKILLS OF ICE SKATING AND HOW TO PLAY THE GAME OF HOCKEY. OUR PROGRAM IS AVAILABLE TO ALL INTERESTED YOUTH REGARDLESS OF SOCIO/ECONOMIC BACKGROUND.
