Mission Statement

The Friends of Attleboro recreation is situated in an area of the City that includes many needy families and children. We try to meet as many need as we can , and that includes food programs - recreation programs , and we try to help families copying with recent serious events - fires , death in the family etc. There are 4 of us - all volunteers that try to raise money for these causes. Lately , our primary focus is on the rec center programs and holiday funds for families and children in need. We also support local food pantries where there are extreme shortages in our area. We started out years ago with a focus on recreation programs for area kids that could not afford them.
