FRIENDS OF MURPHYSBORO FOUNDATION SUPPORTS COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC PROGRESS THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF LONG TERM CONTINUING BENEFITS TO ITS RESIDENTS BY SUPPORTING EDUCATIONAL, CULTURAL AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES, AND THROUGH IMPROVEMENTS TO COMMUNITY RESOURCES, TO ENCOURAGE COMMUNITY PRIDE AND QUALITY OF LIFE.
