THE GEORGETOWN NEUROSCIENCE FOUNDATION IS A GRASSROOTS 501(C)3 NONPROFIT DEDICATED TO GIVING PEOPLE CONTROL OF THEIR BRAIN HEALTH THROUGH RESEARCH, EDUCATION AND OUTREACH. WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS SYSTEM AND A CORE COMMUNITY BASED IN GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, IT IS THE HOME OF THE GEORGETOWN BRAIN STUDY, A LONGITUDINAL RESEARCH PROJECT INTO THE IMPACT OF LIFESTYLE ON BRAIN HEALTH AND NEURODEGENERATIVE DISEASE, A FAMILY OF CONDITIONS THAT INCLUDES DEMENTIA, ALZHEIMER'S, PARKINSON'S AND ALS.
