Mission Statement

The organizations primary exempt purpose is to organize and administer 4-H programs in Bryan County Georgia. Membership consists of 1028 students between the ages of 9 and 19. 4-H is the youth program of the University of Georgia-Cooperative Extension. Cooperative Extension offers educational programs assistance and materials to all people without regard to race color natural origin age sex or disability. 4-H assists youth in acquiring knowledge developing skills and forming attitudes that will enable them to become self-directing,productive and contributing members of society. This is accomplished through hands on learning experiences focused on agricultural awareness leadership communication skills foods and nutrition health energy conservation and citizenship. 4-H members compete in district state and national project competitions and the Summer Camp programs. In addition to regular Club meetings that are held at all Bryan County schools there are several specialty
