Georgia Transplant Foundation ("GTF") exists to bridge the financial and emotional gaps faced by organ transplant candidates, recipients, and their families throughout Georgia. In 2024, GTF continued to provide a comprehensive portfolio of programs, including financial assistance, educational initiatives, mentoring and support services, and return-to-work readiness through the JumpStart Program. GTF also hosted multiple community-based events, including the Trends in Transplant Conferences in four cities, to promote education, peer connection, and empowerment among those impacted by transplantation. With a strong focus on sustainability and equity, GTF worked closely with transplant centers, social workers, and community partners to reach patients in both urban and rural areas, ensuring that life-saving support was accessible regardless of income or geography. In 2024, GTF's patient programs and services were utilized by 1,899 Georgians impacted by transplantation.
