Mission Statement

We believe that children make great philanthropists givers of themselves for the good of humanity. With the rise of hate speech cultural divisions and mental health challenges it is critical that we strengthen the social fabric of our communities. Therefore The Giving Square focuses on building empathy agency and a philanthropic disposition in kids. We run experiential learning programs for children families and educators. In 2023 we ran 56 programs at over 36 partner sites in Maryland and Virginia schools non-profits and beyond.
