GREATER GREENVILLE HOCKEY WAS CREATED TO ORGANIZE, ADMINISTER AND OPERATE YOUR SPORTS PROGRAMS IN THE UPSTATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA. THE GOAL IS TO INSTILL IN EACH PARTICIPANT A LOVE, APPRECIATION AND KNOWLEDGE OF SPORTS, THE IDEALS OF FAIR PLAY AND SPORTMANSHIP, THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEADERSHIP SKILLS, AND COMMITTMENT TO COMMUNITY SERVICE. THIS IS A 100% VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION FOCUSED ON MAKING THE SPORT OF ICE HOCKEY ACCESSIBLE AND AFFORDABLE TO ALL. WE ALSO OFFER NEED-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS THROUGH OUR SILENT WARRIOR FUND AND PROVIDE LOANER GEAR AS NEEDED. WE OFFER "TRY HOCKEY FOR FREE" EVENTS THAT ARE OPEN TO ALL WHO ARE INTERESTED. WE ALSO DEVELOPED THE FIRST ALL-GIRLS HOCKEY TEAM IN SOUTH CAROLINA - THE WARRIOR PRINCESS. WE WERE ABLE TO CREATE THIS TEAM THROUGH EFFORTS INCLUDING CLINICS, JAMBOREES, CAMPS AND "TRY HOCKEY FOR FREE" EVENTS THAT WERE FOR GIRLS ONLY. THE GREATER GREENVILLE HOCKEY ASSOCIATION IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION WHICH RELIES COMPLETELY ON VOLUNTEERS. MANY PEOPLE GIVE GEN
