Mission Statement

The Greater Miami Community Concert Band Inc. operating as the Greater Miami Symphonic Band is a community band comprising approximately 80 advanced amateur musicians. Rehearsing weekly from September 1 to July 4 the band presents ten public concerts annually. This year performances included four concerts at the 600-seat Gusman Hall on the University of Miami campus three concerts at the 500-seat Pinecrest Gardens two at minor venues and the Coral Gables 4th of July fireworks celebration attracting an estimated 30,000 attendees at the Biltmore Golf Course and surrounding area.
