Mission Statement

Green Tech provides workforce development training preparing youth and young adults ages 15-23 with skills in work ethic, life skills, resume writing, job search and mental health support. Green Tech emphasizes environmental protection and careers in construction, transportation, utilities, manufacturing and environmental management (agriculture, forestry conservation, life sciences). Students learned the significance of reducing greenhouse gases and pollution through the use of electric vehicles and reducing use of gas powered vehicles. Students also visited 650 acres of wilderness in emigrant gap and planted milkweed for the purpose of restoring monarch butterfly habitat.
