Mission Statement

To ensure a balance between the rapid population growth, labor interests and the preservation of the natural environment in the Gulf coast region; to establish a role for workers and unions in environmental activism in the Gulf Coast region; to unite labor leaders, union members, environmental activists and other concerned local citizens in the Gulf Coast region to fight for good jobs and a clean environment in furtherance of the goals of the blue/green alliance.
