Mission Statement

Global Girls with Attitude (G.W.A) is an organized nonprofit 501(c)(3) promoting a culture of positivity and motivation. G.W.A. provides a palette of opportunities for inner-city adolescents thirsty for self-discovery. We empower them to interweave their brilliant threads into the diverse tapestry of their communities. Through literacy and intercultural engagement, their world expands beyond concrete and conformity. Their minds bloom into kaleidoscopes of imagination, knowledge, empathy, and hope. At G.W.A., creativity and connection unlock each girl's potential. Our programs guide them to become educated, responsible adults while staying true to the colors that make their lives joyful and unique. We inspire inner-city girls to define themselves, lift each other, and improve their communities by becoming confident community leaders.
