Annually 50,000+ visitors are served on site, via guided tours, audio/film experiences, craft/trade demonstrations, special events/programs, exhibitions, publications, a graduate degree program, and restoration projects. The visitor experience is anchored by the intact Shaker site of 20 historic buildings, 35 period room spaces, gardens, farm animals, trails, and a 22,000 object permanent collection.
