Hawaii Preceptorship Program is organized exclusively for charitable educational and scientific purposes including for such purposes the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501c3 of the Internal Revenue Code or corresponding section of any future federal tax code Specifically the corporation is dedicated to training medical students international medical graduates medical residents and nurse practitioners to become conscientious compassionate and highly competent healthcare providers The program emphasizes expanding clinical knowledge and interpersonal skills within the American healthcare context providing experience in outpatient primary care and fostering cultural competence Participants will gain expertise in managing common primary care conditions procedural skills in ambulatory surgery sports medicine and womens health and an understanding of systems-based practice Our goal is to produce well-round
