HAYS PRAISE EMMAUS COMMUNITY HAS BEEN SPONSORING THE WALK TO EMMAUS FOR OVER TWENTY FIVE YEARS. THE COMMUNITY IS MADE UP OF FIVE LOCAL GROUPS FROM CHURCHES IN THE HAYS COUNTY TEXAS AREA. THE WALK TO EMMAUS IS A CHRISTIAN SPIRITUAL RETREAT FOR MEN AND WOMEN. THE RETREAT IS A THREE DAY SHORT COURSE IN CHRISTIANITY WHERE YOU LEARN A NEW WAY OF GOD'S GRACE AND LOVE WHICH IS REVEALED THROUGH OTHER BELIEVERS. HAYS PRAISE CONDUCTS A TOTAL OF FOUR WALKS PER YEAR. THE COMMUNITY SUPPORTS THE WALKS WITH THEIR FUNDS AND VOLUNTEERS THAT CONDUCT THE RETREATS. THE PLAN FOR THE COMMUNITY IS TO CONTINUE WITH THE TRADITION.
