Mission Statement
The primary purpose of Heroes Among Us is to raise funds for selected veteran and military programs in the North Texas area. In 2021 we supported a group of soldiers to attend a 4 day fishing trip sponsored by Patriot Anglers, an organization that has tremendous success with wounded military veterans through the art of fly fishing. Funds raised also went to our annual Christmas program in support of the active duty wounded warriors at the Soldier Recovery Unit at Ft. Cavazos, Texas.
