Mission Statement

HERSHEY ENTERTAINMENT & RESORTS EMPLOYEE SUPPORT FUND EXISTS TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO HE&R EMPLOYEES AND THEIR DEPENDENTS DURING TIMES OF NEED DUE TO UNFORESEEN/UNAVOIDABLE LIFE EVENTS AND/OR CRISIS. EMPLOYEES IN NEED MAY APPLY FOR ASSISTANCE. APPLICATIONS ARE REVIEWED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND EITHER APPROVED FOR PAYMENT OR DENIED. IF APPROVED, PAYMENT IS NORMALLY MADE DIRECTLY TO THE CREDITOR OF THE APPLICANT RATHER THAN TO THE APPLICANT. THIS ASSISTANCE IS THE SOLE MISSION OF THE FUND.
