Mission Statement

The Mission of the Highlands Football Association (HFA) is to carry out the values and traditions instilled in its members while in attendance at NMHU and uplift and enhance the experience within the current players in the football program. HFA strives through its efforts to support the football program at New Mexico Highlands University by helping to provide student-athletes the opportunity to achieve academic and athletic excellence. HFA is committed to engaging current players, alumni, and friends who embrace NMHU football and want to be part of the success of the football program and its student-athletes. Watching them compete in the sport they love, earn a degree from New Mexico Highlands University, transition into a career and be successful in their lifelong endeavors as outstanding NMHU graduates and global citizens.
