Mission Statement

The purpose of the organization is to advance the science, art and safety of soaring flight in the area of Hollister, California and adjacent regions. The activities of the organization to achieve this purpose will include providing flight instruction and ground instruction in soaring flight, provide an aero-launch facility for soaring flights, introduce the general public to soaring flight through introductory lessons, promote aeronautical safety through individual instruction and group seminars, and sponsor glider flying events to promote the sport of soaring among existing glider pilots and prospective glider pilots. The organization expects to commence its program activities in 2024, after it has undertaken initial fund raising and acquired the necessary aircraft and equipment.
