The HomeSchool Association of California is a nonprofit volunteer-run homeschool organization that: 1) Honors the diversity of homeschoolers 2) Supports the entire spectrum of homeschooling 3) Provides homeschooling information 4) Monitors and influences legislation 5) Offers opportunities for families to get together 6) Provides networking and support for homeschoolers 7) Empowers families to make choices that respect the rights, needs, and aspirations of their children
